AREAS OF CONCERN:   

                     The main function of the SV&ACB is to eradicate corruption from the public places, detect leakage of Govt. revenue, cases of disproportionate assets to the known sources of income, abuse of official powers by the public servants causing loss to the Govt. exchequer, illicit felling of trees, encroachment on Govt. land etc. Special attention is being paid to maintain an unobtrusive watch on the cases of demanding/accepting illegal gratification, forgery, cheating, criminal breach of trust, falsification/tampering with records etc. besides, collecting information/intelligence about the prevailing corrupt practices in the Govt. Departments, Boards/Corporations as well as public servants of ill repute and dubious conduct.
